Design Challenge: The clients sought a modern yet timeless residence that would harmoniously integrate with the surrounding rural and agricultural landscape. A key design priority was to create strong visual and physical connections to the adjacent garden, ensuring seamless access and integration between the interior spaces and the environment.

Our Solution: We broke the primary functions of the home into three smaller pavilions all on one level. This helped decrease the overall scale/mass of the home while assuring each space had a direct, at times intimate connection with the gardens and outdoor spaces. Circulation between the pavilions was done with transparent hallways with deep and dense garden beds flanking both sides.
